It was real cool. A small-but-dedicated Monday night crowd was in
attendance, but everyone was feelin' it. More than half the crowd was on
the floor. Mostly new sounds, he even mixed in some CD-R "burnplates" of
some fresh-from-the-studio work. He did bust out a little Jazzanova,
and...guess what? the Afronaut track!
We also had a listmeet of sorts, shouts out to Nate (aka brokenbt/DJ
Reddevil), Max Cat, Megan and Beau. (Anyone else in the house?) I also got
to meet the man himself...Nate was talking to Seiji and introduced me (hope
you guys are interviewing him for your show). Real cool guy.
