years ago there was an attempt to organize my cd-s by style, but then styles
got a bit confusing, so now i just add new cd-s next to previous ones.
similar to an other guy, if got something new from a artist i already have
cd-s of, i add new one to others by this artist. I also keep a word
document, where i tried to create some categories. It doesn`t help at
finding records, though. but I have generally good overview anyhow, still,
    but for how long? ...

    categories in my "word file":

    - BRITISH
(everything of British Origin or Influenced by those of...
    i.a. GUITAR-POP, CLASSIC PUNK, "INDIE", SYNTH ...)
    - PSYCHEDELIC, NOISE, KRAUTROCK + all kinds of weirdness
    (Alternative)ROCK, (INDIE)POP, PUNK
    - CLASSICAL
    - RUSSIAN
    - CLASSIC SOUL & FUNK(y stuff)
    - HOUSE, CLASSIC DISCO, DRUM N` BASS + other dancable groove
    - JAZZ, LATIN, BRASILIAN (BOSSA & SAMBA)
    -REGGAE & DUB
    -EASY & MELLOW (EASY LISTENING, CHILL-OUT ...)
    -AMBIENT, TECHNO, ELECTRO, EXPERIMENTAL, BIG-BEAT
    -RAP, HIP-HOP, TRIP-HOP, R&B
    -METAL, INDUSTRIAl, HARD-ROCK(&ROLL)
