    YES, yes and yes !

Twelve years after digging this record over and
over at the local musiclibrary, after several
fruitless attempts at ordering it back then,
and fruitlessly trying to persuade the only
two people I have ever met who had this
record, TODAY I finally got it.

    For free !!

This is the record that coined and named
the sound which I had never heard before .

This record sparked by enthusiasm for
James Taylor Quartet, Last poets, Galliano
and the predescors from the jazzscene
which I up to that point thought litle of, giving
my musical preferences were the likes of
Style Council, Sade, Prince, Pet Shop boys.

But today.... here it is... the one and
only Acid Jazz - and other illicit grooves
produced by Gilles Peterson and Simon Booth.

The tracks are introduced by Jalal from the
last Poets and the tracks are

Ace of Clubs - Ace of Clubs
    Push - Traffic
AJA (Acid Jazz Alliance) - Shaft in Action
Galliano & the Jazz Renegades - Six Sharp Fists
Night Trains - And Now We Have Rhythm
Rhythm Blades - Doin' It Naturally

    Oh sweet sounds.....
