i think fragment orchestra's "carioca" is supposed to be played at 33 and
something(?) but i like it at 45, pitch -5
but all this coming from the girl who likes to speed up "transcend me"

regarding ninja tune:
i like the roots manuva, it doesn't blow my mind but i play it quite a bit,
"evil rabbit" being my track.
liked the antibalas (how could u not?)
up, bustle and out--again, doesn't blow my mind but i respect their work
immensely, the ties to cuba, the whole radio rebelde thing.
i don't know, i'm quite mesmerized with what they've done, their ideas, etc.
regarding access to music/money to buy music:
is there some kind of online forum to discuss such things or to read what
people have written about this? im very much interested in music and its
ties to class, accessibility, race, privilege, etc.
i think about such things when i go see shows. i could go off about this but
in the end it would be to myself and i want to know what other people
think....
