Hmm... Havent heard the CD, but these two tracks are very different and
could not be mixed together, unless Smoke City's Jug track was played on
45 (which I heard somebody do once but I think it was by accident)
The Da Lata track is a fast-ish (around 118) breakbeat, monster of a
track. It starts out with about 4 minutes of brazil styled beats, then
there's a pause where a soulful Rhodes groove drops, and then the beats
come back in again even ruffer, with a cuica instrument (the one that
sounds like a rubbery bird) grooving....

The smoke city track is a downtempo groover round
90 bpm, highly syncopated and brazil influenced. Starts out with 2
bell-sounding notes alternating on the One of each bar, then after a
little while there's a drop of the beat, and then the bass groove and a
heavier beat drops in over the bell-sounds which complements the track and
    adds a lot of depth.

I hope my descriptions might help you distinguish which is which.
Both tracks are excellent & essential!

    peace
    Nat
