I don't know about 'Back in the Day', but I recently picked
up King Britt's 'Inspirations Vol 1', and it's got a
beautiful, beautiful 4hero remix of Pine's "I've Known
Rivers". Pine's vocals are kept more or less intact, but
as you might suspect, 4hero slip in their distinct mellow
dnb grooves underneath. You can take a listen at
groovetech.com's listening lab. Actually, the whole album
is good, also containing the Scuba (e.i. King Britt) track
"Patience" with Vikter Duplaix (?) (which was recently
discussed on this news group and is getting a lot of play
on KCRW) and some of Britt's earlier inspirations (Duh).

This is kinda getting off the original topic, but recently,
I can't seem to get enough of King Britt. I had the chance
to see him spin a set just before Christmas in Ottawa at
the Mercury Lounge, and it was fantastic - Really nice,
deep soulful house. The dancefloor of the small club was
packed and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I
can't wait for Remembers Only to finally get released!
