I've culled together about 10 songs from the album from various sources, and
I for one love it for the most part especially "all that I am",
"sometimes", "love poems," and "queen of sanity".

However, if you don't buy the album (whenever it comes out :(, you
GOTTA see him live. His voice is phenomenal. None of his recorded
vocals showcase the power his lungs have; I've seen his show live
about six or seven times now, and it has never been the same set.

Unfortunately, I think there's going to be this whole thing where
people either love him or hate him. I don't think there are going to
be any in between. Also, he's getting a little hype so a lot of
people are going to write him off immediately just because of it. He
also has what I call the "Patti LaBelle/Sarah Vaughan" problem - that
being his voice is so powerful and can do so many vocal gymnastics
that a lot of people may get put off with the whole "whooping and
hollering" and dismiss it as not singing. I say see him live and make
your own decision; you really won't be able to get what he's really
about solely through his record. Platform.net had a webcast up from a
show he did at SOB's in NYC, but they have taken it down for whatever
    reason.

I've enjoyed the what's in my cd player the past few weeks so I
thought I contribute after my little diatribe.

    1. Wagon Christ - "Musipal" Can't stop playing this one.
    2. Omar - "Best By Far" Can't stop playing this one either.
    3. Doyle Bramhall II - "Welcome" (great mix of rock/blues/soul)
    4. Masters At Work 10Th Anniversary (1995 - 00) Part 2
The Remix of Kenny Lattimore's Days Like This is infectious
    5. Jay Dee's "Welcome to Detroit" Beat Generation on BBE
    6. Roger Waters "In the Flesh Live"
    7. Missy Elliott "So Addictive"
    8. All the Bilal tracks I've found so far
