    Thanks for those who responded to my first query regarding "Corners of My
    Mind" on Nikka Costa's _Everybody Got Their Something_. I did wait till
    the end of the song, where, after a few minutes of silence, there was some
    cheering and clapping.

    What artistic reason could there be to put so much empty space in a song?
    Can anyone explain?
