    i only have two cds of l.l. smith but i can tell how important
    influence he has been to almost every jazzy-orientated dance music
    producer of the last few years. both cds are very highly recommended:

    lonnie liston smith & the cosmic echoes - expansions (flying dutchman,
    1975); most probably his absolute masterpiece

    lonnie liston smith - golden dreams (bluebird, 1973); abstract,
    sublime, dark jazz/funk of the highest order.
