i saw that show today also. it was classic. maybe it was just the tv, but the mix seemed off. i couldnt hear vocals and a lot of brass on most of the songs. but it was still really cool to remember the 'old days.'

this is off topic, but speaking of BET has anyone seen this new show "Black in the Day"??? Its funny as hell. All these old 70's and 80's videos. Tooo cheesey... right now they're playing "Oh Sheila" by Ready for the World...lmao, i was given this tape when i was like 5 or 6 with my little Fisher Price tape player... they really could have left it out. some cool stuff i've seen on this show is stevie wonder, parliament, prince, de la, .... its really funny to watch for kicks though... i can't believe some of this stuff used to be the jam...

As far as BET jazz channel, i have it too, but almost never watch it except when i'm falling asleep. I'll check out the Knitting Factory.

      L8er.

    >Definitely, check out Live From the Knitting Factory. BET on Jazz is kinda erractic scheduling wise because they never really tell you who's on a show. I mean thay may have someone you really dig on a show, but the only way that you'll know is to tune in. The listings will tell you nothing. If you tune in often enough (as I do), you will find it to be a good thing to have. Enjoy.
