I picked up LTJ's Logical Progression which I absolutely hated. It wouldn't
be for another year that I'd pop that disc back in and immediately fall into
an ecstacy. What was I thinking? (I love it when I pop in a disc later and
love it for the first time, its a great feeling.)

Yeah, that second listen you feel like a light went on, a door opend, and
it's an awesome feeling =]. I too believe in the music evolution theory.
As time passes we learn and become more refined and focused musically. The
idea of refinement is in the realms of taste, apprication, and quality.
This is not to say that there aren't MANY different paths on the journey of
evolution. Like, the example of a bush more than a tree...lots of little
    paths connected.

What CAN be said is that all of our journeys have lead to this place - the
AJ list. (pretty neat =]) My path was, in sorta chronological order:
Latin, Opera, Pink Floyd (need special mentiion), Psychadelic/ 60's Rock,
Latin House/House, Jazz, Grateful Dead, Acid-Jazz.....

Has anyone else noticed emotional/moody similarities in some Pink Floyd trks
    and Cinematic Orch trks?
