I think the second one you are talking about is one with the kiwi. That's my
favorite too. it's Sequel... Check for another very recent release on
Straight Ahead called the Upsolid EP. This is pulled from the straight ahead
    site:

Sequel: the boys gianni siravo and roberto ceschi have their first ep
"upsolid" out in february 2001, it features the well received main track
upsolid, why? with Shoany White., spun out and bail. with this ep they got
already the support from people like rainer trüby and jazzanova. there are
also remixes coming from domu and charlie dark from attica blues. sequel are
also going to contribute a track for dj morpheus' freezone-compilation. they
are currently working on an album. the single is out on 19th of february.

So I just got my second Zest record from Groove Dis today, and I have to
say, this label is amazing. Zest 4, the new one, by an artist called Nos
(Jason Goodings), is a brilliant mix of electro, breaks and 2step. Punchy,
slinky and lithe. But Zest 3, by Max Fresh (M. Goodings), is even better -
one track is a similarly kinetic (but controlled) breaks track, but the flip
    - oh my goodness - the flip is this kind of half-tempo house track with deep
bass drums, ringing percussion, weird upper-register squiggling, and almost
angelic vocal snippets. One of the best things I've heard all year.

So, the obvious question: anyone know anything about these folks?

    Thanks,
    Philip
