I'm not sure if these questions are related or not...

Regardless, I could use some recs for online downtempo broadcasts. It seems Squidradio is no longer broadcasting and Radio Venus is not far behind, my two favorites.

I picked up Avalanches a couple weeks ago. (I thought I commented on this before. Mebbe not.) My immediate response was one of dread at yet more house, but this grows on you. It has a subdued feel to it that draws you in. Somehow that other-earthly feel always grabs me. Supposedly the CD uses over 900 samples throughout, so eventually these six guys will find something you know but just can't quite identify. One of my favorites from the past month or so.

Has anyone had any problems the last couple of days listening to audio at http://www.groovedis.com ?

I am very curious about new releases by
The Avalanches and Bugge Wesseltoft. Give me a holler.
