after 2 years of netcasts and very low power AM(if any?), Beats in Space
takes a step up and moves to wnyu 89.1 FM with a radiated power of 8,300
watts and broadcasting range that covers manhattan, the bronx, brooklyn,
queens, northern new jersey and goes up to even a little bit of
conneticut! it's definitely an exciting time for BiS.
so here's the deal, Beats in Space will now be broadcast on Thursday
nights from 10:30pm to 1am... this thursday the show will be formally
introduced and a one hour BiS mix will be played at midnight... then, on
the next thursday (may 31st) I'll be taking over for the full 2 and a
half hours from then on out.
if you're in the area, or have friends who are, please pass the word on
about the show... and as always, if you can't hear it on the radio,
there is still a live Real Audio stream at wnyu.org, a rebroadcast at
http://www.piratetv.net(which has a bunch of other top quality live
broadcasts), and some nice archives, playlists and a couple pictures at
