I got some invitations for their performance next week at La Triana,
Mexico City, as part of the 'No Electronica' mini-festival. Anyone else is
coming? Besides Nortec, the Technolab (www.technolab.com.mx) and Nopalbeat
(www.nopalbeat.com) collectives will be playing as well. they are three of
the most important electronic music collectives in mexico City. Nopalbeat
is a kind of sibling collective to nortec. They also fuse latin sounds
with their electronic music, but the results are not as impressive. The
only outstanding act on Nopalbeat is Sussie 4. Look for their releases!
They are really worth checking out! Nopalbeat is from guadalajara, while
Noiselab is from mexico city. Hope to see you there!
