    Here are my points:

    1) Gil was on cocaine which is obviously a hard drug to kick (if you went
in high school and took either Biology or Chemistry, you know). That's why
I said that he was 'making himself a coffin'. If you know someone who is on
    it too, that helps.

    2) Why do people make things personal when I just tried to clarify why I
said my opinion (just in case)?

    3) Let's get to the music, I'm sorry and I shouldn't have said anything
because drugs are a touchy subject and you can't stop the fact that they are
out there or that people are using them in helpful and harmful ways. I just
felt that it was a shame and it is a sad sad reality when you have great
stars hooked on the stuff. Look at Elis Regina, the best MPB singer who
released some great samba and bossa moments like "Casa Forte" and "Cai
Dentro", and she overdosed over something very little. And then in the end,
    was it worth it?

With that said, when does Cinematic Orchestra's new album come out! That
new song is DEADLY! I've revived the "Motion" album on the turntable and I
just can't believe their developing mysterious sound.

AND what does everybody think of the Future Sound Of Jazz 8? I have the
vinyl version and as usual there are artifacts in one disc of the vinyl
which are unremovable and unseen. But the music is terrific! The Atjazz
and Soul FC songs are excellent but man that Butti49 is DEADLY! I have to
congratulate the Compost lads for releasing such a killer compilation each
time! And the best part, they are the only company that sells imports so
cheaply. $20 for the 3LP. Oh yeah, you also get a vinyl-only bonus track,
schweet of a deadly Sonar Kollektiv track that'll definitely cause some
    dancefloor rukus!

I'm now curious to know how much Compost Records will sell of a title
because they seem to be a much better form from when things like the first
Beanfield and Genf came out. Of course when they FIRST came out with the A
Forest Mighty Black, I remember they were on everybody's list/lips for that
massive "Fresh In My Mind" song.

What's everybody's opinion on the now-defunct acid jazz (genre) they used to
listen to? Some of it I still like but some of it now sounds a little
cheesy like the dreaded smooth jazz or that new swing (that is equally
    cheesy).

On a MUCH lighter note... :)
