    PRESS RELEASE
    =============

November 27, 2001 is the official release date of two
12" singles by Crut. Crut is me, and the two songs on
the A-side come from my recent album, WEEK (nominated
this year for a Hawai'i Music Award). This is part of
my WEEK 12" REMIX SERIES, where the A-side is my
original track, and the B-side is a remix of the A.
The entire album will be released on vinyl (seven
singles in all) and the remixes will be exclusive to
    the 12" singles.

The first two installments in the series will be out
next week, but you can pre-order your copy now for
$9ppd each (if you order more than two, your postage
will be adjusted accordingly). There will be only 100
    copies of each title.

    The singles are as follows:

    INVU-001: michiru (monday)/mirachu, i hardly knew ye

"michiru (monday)" is the song that opens my WEEK
album, named in honor of the singer. The song itself
is an energetic funk/Latin thing, with hints of Asia
and Polynesia thrown in. "mirachu, i hardly knew ye"
is the twisted ambient/industrial remix done by dhex,
whose music can be heard at sluntrec.com

    INVU-005: aloha (friday)/aloha (friday) (remix)

Aloha Friday is the day in Hawai'i where everyone
dresses in aloha wear and celebrates the culture by
acknowledging the end of the week. For me, Aloha
Friday means it's time to forget work, get into the
club, and dance your ass off. Or as the sample says
in the song, "grab a little happiness at night". The
B-side is a remix done by upcoming producer Sprint Car
Driver (sprintcardriver.com), who turns my song from a
dance track to a funky hip-hop derivative.
