    yep yep... still love me some JANET... but MC Hammer??? Who's buying that
    cd? I got love for the man but sure as hell wont be buying his music!

    I think the slump in record sales is a combination of file-sharing and the
    fact the U.S. is in a 'recession'. It'd be insane not to say that mp3's
    don't have anything to do with it. But I say GOOD! I'll be happy when all
    these big coorperations fail! If you look at the majority of mp3's floating
    around on these file-sharing programs a good majority of it is mainstream
    music... I can hardly ever find what I'm after unless it's old. I don't
    know how many times I've heard people say "neh, i'm not gonna buy that...
    I'll just get it on mp3"... or the countless brothers on the street selling
    all the new stuff on cdr. You can hardly pull into a gas station anymore
    without getting a business card from a man who claim he got all the new
    shit... 5 for $20.
