I'm going to be in Amsterdam December 19th through the 24th. I'd also
appreciate any suggestions that people may have for things to do and places
    to go.

A friend recommended staying with these people while I'm in Amsterdam:

I'll also be in Paris, Brussels and Barcelona around the same time (December
14th-January 2nd), so please let me know anything happening there also.

    Thanks,

Well - heading off to Amsterdam tomorrow for a week - anyone have any clue
of great spots to check out for live music - or if anything is scheduled
    there for this period??

*only* thing I've been able to even remotely track down is hooverphonic - so
would like some more options ; )

    thanks
