a special guest "Broken Beat" mix
This is the first of 2 special mixes from Alex Attias' brother -
Swiss-based Stephane. Stephane is a producer on the rise whose already
recorded for labels like Laws Of Motion, Visions, Neroli, Compost and
others. He's also (no surprise) a great DJ. Stay on the look-out for
a brand new track from Stephane on the forthcoming Co-Op 2 album and
his new collaborative house music project with his brother.
Next week we'll be featuring a House mix from Stephane.
show 011 - DIXON
a special guest mix
The first guest mix recorded in our Brooklyn studio is from Berlin's
Dixon. Dixon is perhaps best known Stateside for his killer DJ set at
the Naked Music party in Miami this year, whilst in Europe he's known
for his association with Jazzanova and the Sonar Kolletiv. Dixon is
also a great remixer and producer in his own right (though if you ask
him he will just say he's paying tribute to Metro Area). Check his label
Recreation and the essential new release from singer-songwriter George
Levin that features Dixon's production. Also look out for his forthcoming
remixes for Attica Blues, Victor Davies and Jazzanova.
