    These are just some of the highlights from this week's New Releases

    Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: The new album from Fila Brazillia "Jump
    Leads", new 12" from John Beltran on Exceptional, new album from the New
    Jersey Kings (better known as the James Taylor Quartet), and the (long
    awaited) new Tosca remix album "Different Shades Of Honey" in on (4
    piece) vinyl (the CD is released next week by Studio K7).

    Beats 'N' Breaks: Some advance copies of the next Chris Carter 12" on
    TCR, finished copies of the Koma & Bones "Morpheus Remixes" on TCR, new
    10 Kilo 12" by PFN, Sir Drew’s "Good Girl" on Kingsize, and a new label
    compilation from Breakin’ Bread with all their previous (now hard to
    find) 7" singles included.

    Drum & Bass: New 12" by Ed of Cause 4 Concern, DJ Hype’s "Old Skool
    Classics" mix CD, DJ Zinc’s "Present Tense EP" D12" on True Playaz, new
    L-Plates 12" by Ejay & Ruff Stuff, restocks of the drum & bass remixes
    of Method Man & Redman’s "How High" by Jon David Rage, new Q-Project 12"
    "Sticky Fingers" on new label Crash Records, another dirt cheap drum &
    bass compilation CD from Moving Shadow called "02.1 Jet Ski Riders
    Edition", and new from Advanced is the double 12" "Sektor One" with cuts
    by Total Science, Digital, JuJu and more.

    Hip Hop: Hip Hop: Double 12" from Switzerland’s deejay Def Cut and Red
    Baron ’s "Ganjaman" on France’s Inflammable label with guest Buckshot
    (from Black Moon).

    House: Both a single and a double 12" this week with tons of Masters At
    Work remixes of Aaliyah’s "More Than A Woman", new remixes of Akabu’s
    "Ride The Storm" on NRK, the Guiro album on Sole Music now in on vinyl,
    new Harry Morse Project 12" with a remix by Faze Action, new Jakatta 12"
    with Sheila Chandra vocals, KOT’s "Young Hearts" gets rushed out by
    Defected as a one-sided "promo" 12", restocks of the killer MAW remixes
    of MJ Cole’s "Tired Game", new Milton Jackson album on Glasgow
    Underground, and a new Dadhouse 12" by Kevin Beadle and Chris Bangs
    under the name TD Project.

    Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: The Peter Kruder remixes of Bebel Gilberto’s "Tanto
    Tempo" finally in stock, new Buscemi "Midnight Sessions" 12", the last
    available copies (for now) of the Quantic and Baby Mammoth remixes of
    Dublex Inc’s "Tango Forte", the usually downtempo Marschmellows gets
    decidedly clubby on their new 12" "Flash Fried" thanks to a remix by
    Needs, awesome new Japanese 12" by Shiba Experiment, the "Panatone"
    compilation in on vinyl this week from San Fran’s Cosmic Flux label, the
    new "Standard Sounds Vol. 2" mix CD compiled and mixed by DJ Nasir on
    Neverstop (formerly Sweet Mother) Records, and Mathew Herbert twiddles
    the knobs on the newest Waldeck single "Tears Running Dry".

    2-Step/UK Garage: A Ruff N Tumble 2-step remix on one of the 2 new D’
    Influence 12"s this week, finished copies of the Mary J Blige "Dance For
    Me" with the Sunship vocal 2-step remix (plus a few more of the promo
    12" with the extra dub remix from Sunship not on the commercial 12"),
    new Reflex One 12" on UK Breaks (home to Colonel Reefa), and a nice new
    2-step compilation from Ministry Of Sound called "Addicted To Bass".

    Other:New issues of Plastiks (Belgium’s top notch answer to Straight No
    Chaser) and Wire.
