PS, about the SBL / hot singer thread... Do u think Sade, or Macy, pimp the
boyz in their bands? U mean when Macy was putting her touring band together,
she put 'em behind a curtain for the audition, like the symphonic musicians
get to do? Guess again.
U think only male musicians care how the group looks? The truth is, almost
everyone in the music biz is trying to get over, using whatever means
necessary. And the visual is, and has been, an important part of the music
since back when Mozart was trying out wigs.
(And btw, since when is Jill Scott the standard for everything? a) who says
she's not hot, and b) a big fan of hers told me yesterday that the anti
interracial dating rants she sprinkles into her concerts are offputting,
especially to interracial couples that paid good money to hear her sing.)
What do they say about people in glass houses not throwing shit, as it'll
eventually f*** up the view?
