I'm going to appear very uncool because I'm quite sure everybody and
their mama knows the following songs from vikter duplaix's betalounge
set (what a great set, btw). Please help.

what is the song/ who is the vocalist/ and is it available on a cd
    (especially a compilation)

    song id 1
around 3rd hr:21minutes into it, male falsetto (right before Vikter's
    own song, sensuality)
lyrics:"you've been gone so long. I might do something wrong"

    song id 2
second song after Vikter's own song, female vocals
    chorus: "good life"

    song id 3
around 5th hr:21minutes into it , male vocals
lyrics: "life goes on after loving you"

song id 4 (first set, not victor's)
around 11:20, instrumental, heavy rhodes its after the sly stone song

After begging for song ids (I'd really like to know these songs), I
    thought I'd contribute.

    >Top 5 Albums of 2001

    1. vincent gallo - when
by far this was the best album for me last year. there are a couple
of electronica influenced tracks ("i wrote this song for the girl
    paris hilton" and
"my beautiful white dog") Most of it is stripped down guitar and
vocals with a drum track thrown in here and there. I love the
    simplicity of it.

    2. omar - best by far
I love the bossa nova influences and soundtrack samples. Omar's
    vocals are always a treat.

    3. bilal - first born second
there are some well written songs on this album especially the
trilogy (when will you call / love poems / queen of sanity) (great
sequencing here). I'll take his vocal gymnastics any day. To me he
doesn't sound like D'Angelo, he sounds like a modern day Sammy Davis,
Jr. He's definitely a crooner that can be a bit hammy despite
interscope's attempt to make him hard (fast lane / sally / etc).

    4. wagon christ - musipal
This is my favorite luke vibert album since Drum n Bass for Papa. It
seems all of the albums in between have lead up to this cd.

    5. 4hero - creating patterns
    no need for comment here.

like to hear other's contributions. I know I'm probably missed out on
a lot of great releases. For example, I just bought new sector
    movements.
