happy 4th of july... to help celebrate the 4th we've got a really great
dj set from the Simian Mobile Disco(yeah, they're from England, so the
4th isn't something to celebrate for them... but whatever, this was
prerecorded a couple weeks ago and it just happens the day I air it is
on the 4th.) anyways, while you're partying on your rooftops or
backyards, turn on the show 'cause it's gonna be nice. make it into a
dance party... alright?! oh, and a big apology about last week with
Smash... the NYU security guards were being assholes and wouldn't let
Smash up to the studios 'cause he didn't have a picture id with
him(although he did have a bag of records and a cd with his name and
picture on it!). unfortunately, the security guards don't realize that
nobody messes with the Beats in Space radio show. I mean, that's just
asking for trouble (hey, uh, midnight beats in space association
members, we've got a special meeting next thursday...) yeah, so,
anyways, we'll get Smash back on the show soon enough.

Beats in Space is broadcast every Thursday on 89.1 FM from 10:30pm to
1:00am in the nyc tri-state area.
