    Hey US North East Coasters,

Don't forget our man Gilles Peterson will be spinning in NYC at the
Metropolitan Pavilion on Thursday the 19th!

The link for the event is www.juggernaut.to - you'll be able to see who
else will be playing that evening.

Speaking of Futebol, I had the pleasure of playing a Puma party and was
in desperate search for soccer(football) NU BEAT tunes - couldn't get
the latest Mr Bongo Futebol as someone beat me to it 2 hours before at
Satellite Records! (what crap luck!) - I had to make do with the
following which I thought I'd add to the collection listed in prior emails..

Depth Charge - a track called GOAL - very nice off of their 1994 release.
Fauna Flash's mix of Grupo Batuque's OLE OLA - superior!!!!!!!!!
Managed to locate a copy of BEST OF BEND IT! - SOCCER'S GREATEST HITS
which is very kitsch but great to throw in between the segueways - put
together by Cornelius and put out on Trattoria Records. The only place I
know that carries it in the states is indie record label/shop Darla
Records www.darla.com. 60s tunes with lyrics such as "Tip Top Tottenham
Hotspurs..." and homages to Man United and the like. More Brit oriented
    teams.

Thanks for reading my two cents....
