Just got a copy of the above (from Dusty Grooves), and it looks really good.
I find Big Daddy can sometimes veer too close to fart jokes type humour,
although there are some great articles buried in there as well, they also
seem very proud of the fact that its really badly designed. Waxpoetics on
the other hand looks and feels like a quality product, great design and
photography. Haven't read the whole thing yet, but what I have read has been
good (nice interview with Madlib). Its definitely on the funk/jazz/ crate
digger tip, so Big Daddy is the closest comparison rather than SNC. Seek!
