    When "acid jazz" was the hot term, I got into it
    because I liked what I had always called funky jazz
    from the early 70's. But by going through this way, I
    discovered a lot of other music. As Paul said,
    whatever movement existed before may be long gone, but
    I think the interest to discover new and like-minded
    music is still around.

    Speaking of Remy Shand, listen to the instrumental of
    "Take A Message" on the 12". That's definitely
    something to chillout to. I do think the dance remix
    is lousy, but that's just me.
