Boogaloo in 372: A night of soul, funk, jazz and disco at The Lotus Eaters
Gallery, 372 Ste Catherine O. Doors open at 10PM, the tax is $3, drinks are
cheap and attitude is nonexistent.
Alex Robbins (Everyday Hustle), DJ Static and Professor Groove (WeFunk) and
Dan Zacks (Waxing Deep) will be digging deep to provide a much needed break
from the electro craziness sweeping over our fair city. As an extra bonus,
visuals will include Blaxploitation classics, with a special emphasis on
everybody's favourites, "Avenging Disco Godfather" and "Blackbelt Jones."
If you make it out, be sure to search me out and say hi--I'll be wearing a
blue t-shirt printed with "Ipanema."
