    I just got the full length and haven't really had a chance
    to fully take it all in, but early impressions are
    favourable. I have to say I'm really liking a lot of the
    stuff Akufen puts out - A bit of a soft spot of all that
    glitch-y, minimal micro/tech-house. And it seems the guy's
    popping up almost everywhere these days... Or maybe I just
    pay more attention to Canadian talent. Name checked in this
    month's URB magazine as part of this year's Next 100, and
    all over a bunch of compilations (Swayzak's
    Groovetechnology v1.3, the excellent "confidence" mix by
    Mightykat on Montreal's Hautec records - check here for a
    short review plus notes on the montreal scene:

     plus featured at this year's Mutek festival. Looks like
    he's gonna have a busy year.
