good to see dialogue flying again on this list.

I always knew you were on the right track Marv!

I admire you for sticking to your principles. There's a lot of dj's out =
there who don't. Something I often notice is that the dj will adjust his =
style and tunes to the audience. I hate this.. Maybe that's fine for the =
people who come to the venue solely to see other people, get drunk, do =
drugs and have fun in their manner. When I go out, of course i want to =
have fun but this strongly involves hearing interesting music. I really =
can't enjoy myself somewhere where the focus is on the music and dancing =
and where the music is plain boring.

On the other hand, when I come to a place where the space is a dump, the =
people don't dance and it's full of guys in the place who look like they =
want to snap your neck I can still enjoy myself when the music is okay!!

so what did I play this week to feel good?

fertile ground - perceptions (I love this stuff!)

ufo - V (best ufo album?)

va -afrika underground jazz funk and fusion under apartheid ( obscure =
    african jazzfunk)

dj marky and xrs land - lk (remix feat mc stamina) (everyone needs a bit =
of marky!, can't stop the dancing)

big boss man - sea groove (funky bizzniz)

charles kynard - Reelin' with the Feelin' (same as above)

chet poison ivey - shake a poo poo (the funk never stops)

Bia - La nuit des masques (french bossa)

Max de castro - Afosamba (brazilian nu-soul)

drummagick - take it easy (excellent s=E3o paulo d&b mix of a classic =
    tune)

briskey - conchita's cabin (thanks to this list)

Charlie Shavers Quintet Featuring Earl Hines - Curry In A Hurry ( I =
wanted to know more about Charlie as I live in a street named after him, =
talented horn player from way back)

se=F1or soul - El loco (saw him mentioned on the groove attack release =
list, kinda funny funky jazzy stuff)

what did you play that moved you?

    Jeroen
