STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.html (see below for times)

    Hello all

Norway was in the house last Friday. Espen Horne was on the phone to tell us
about his Nhu Golden Era album with the Bobby Hughes Combination, his
Wahwahmoose 45s reissue label (lookout for Karin Krog doing Watermelon Man
very soon) and his Oslo clubnight Moosejuus with Eivind Olsvik (where's that
    mix, Eivind?).

Then it was an in-studio appearance from Anders Nilsen, aka Andy from
Jazzland Records (home to Bugge Wesseltoft and Beady Belle). Andy is
spending some time in Perth and having just dropped the Jazzland Remixed 2
album and associated 12"s, is now talking about a new Beady Belle album.
Oooh. Universal is distributing this stuff in Australia so the shops should
have no excuse now. Also, we had a rocking night at Revolver last Friday
    Andy, Kano, Lanu and myself.

This week, I'll have a mix from the legendary Phil Asher whose new Focus LP
"Sweet & Sour" is out on Versatile.

    until then
    Ennio Styles
