    Sup?
I'm Salvie and yes there has been a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge migration (about 10
years worth) of MS gang members
that have gone to hide out and try and run game down south.

Back in 1992 my half sister was shipped back to El Salvador because of her
gang related activities but it wasn't because she was hiding out it was
mainly because a lot of parents thought this was a way to "reform" their
children who were born in Cali. Once people started to get shipped back for
some rural home training fools started going back to get away from rival
gangs looking for them or the LAPD.

As far as music scene...my cousin says there's a huge cumbia/rock fusion
going on as well as a small dancehall reggae scene in San Salvador and Santa
    Ana.

A must do: Go surfing at the beach...i'll be headed out there in march with
    my merrick board.

    peace
