wow!!! thanks to everyone who made it out last monday nite to the superhip
temple bar (1026 w. wilshire, santa monica) where mga held it down with the
live jazz breakbeats, deep house, and nu soul! and special thanks to the
fantastic vocalist / songwriter sy smith for taking a quick break from her
meshell ndegeocello tour duties contributing her talents to the occasion!!!
also, special shout out to jamie from uqibuity records for blessing us with
the tasty beats...
but the beat goes on and we don't stop!!! the modern groove assembly will be
back with its all-star lineup of jazz and funk heavyweights, plus surprise
special guests and the like... this monday, august 18...
cover is only $5, dj phoreyez will be in the house, the drinks (and the men)
are cool, the food (and the ladies) are always hot, so, on monday nites,
