STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.html (see below for times)

    Hello all

Double-barrel was last week's show with 2 great guests. Louie Vega from
Masters at Work was on the phone and seemed a very down to earth guy for
someone who's been one of the biggest names in dance music for many years
now. Did you hear him say how he likes to make exclusive mix CDs to give the
kids at his young son's birthday parties? Try getting your name on the door
for one of those! Louie will be presenting MAW live at Vibes on a Summer's
Day with guest Raul Midong, Billie and forthcoming Stylin guest Shaun
    Escoffery.

Then Huw joined me live in the studio for some tunes and chat. Huw works in
London's famous Mr Bongo record store as well as DJing and producing as part
of the Beyond There collective who have had some great remixes and
compilation tracks turn up on labels like Counterpoint, Om, Bomb and Mo'Wax,
as well as producing for the likes of MCs like T-Love and Biz Markie.
Apparently there's a bunch of new productions in the pipeline too so stay
    tuned ...

Tomorrow's show will feature the return of Jurgen from Jazzanova so you know
    that'll be good.

    until then
    Ennio Styles
