    SOME SHOUTS TO THE BAY
Gotta give shouts out to a couple of San Francisco cats who are doing their best to keep things on the real. First to Tom Thump, whom I had the pleasure of meeting in person at last. He was most successful in making the Nicola Conte gig at Milk last weekend quite a night, despite heavy rain during the afternoon/early evening hours (which, thankfully, subsided prior to Nicola's turn at the decks). It was also quite cool to have shaken the hands and briefly chat with the bossa maestro from Italy himself. I missed Kyoto Jazz Massive the night before, but Tom can put a couple of feathers in his cap indeed. He's got DJ Ender from Nuspirit Helsinki on Saturday November 29, so hope to make it there.

Shouts also goes out to the man behind True Intent, Mikebee himself. We've met so ever briefly over a year ago, and it was quite cool to meet him on his home turf. He works hard at keeping the scene moving. Watch out in early December. Not only will he be bringing two members of the Bugz crew, but Ayro will be hopping to the Bay to open up for the Bugz guys. Wow! More on the date/time soon.
