    Dear friends,

Attached are a couple of recent playlists, along with your guide to
upcoming live events in the SF area. Of particular note: the legendary Was
(Not Was) gets resurrected for an appearance at Slim's on December 30.
Don't miss that one! And have a safe and happy holiday season. :-)

    Playlist from DJ Rocky Rococo
Special "Freak Week" edition of "Rucker Park"
KFJC 89.7 FM, Los Altos Hills, CA
    November 27, 2004, Noon-3pm

"Freak Week" is a KFJC tradition wherein our normal show structure and
musical requirements are temporarily thrown out the window for a
completely freeform approach to programming. (Amazing as it may seem,
there is a method to the usual madness at KFJC!) So for this post-
Thanksgiving, "Freak Week" version of "Rucker Park," I invited our
listeners to aerobicize away some of those extra holiday pounds with three
hours of upbeat dance classics from 80's and 90's. Yep, today we
were "Sweatin' to the Oldies" inna KFJC style!

Playlist from Trinity & Rocky Rococo
KFJC 45th Anniversary "Funk 45" Special
    October 31, 2004, 2-4pm

Today's show was special in more ways than one. Firstly, as part of KFJC's
45th anniversary "Day of 45s" programming, Trinity and I got to spin two
hours of funk 45s, featuring releases from Stones Throw, Daptone, Tru
Thoughts, and many more. And secondly, after filling in for Trinity
on "Rucker Park" more times than I can count, this was our first team
show, ever. And it was a lot of fun! Thanks to Trinity for sharing the
    wheels of steel this week.
