Audio Previews :: Sakamoto Ryuichi - undercooled/NGO
wow! i'm officially excited about Sakamoto Ryuichi's upcoming new
album. coming off of about 2-3 years of international, critical success
from his bossa nova project with Jaqcues and Paula Morelenbaum, Sakamoto
is back to, it seems, his place as the king of eclecticism. below is
link to the new single with sound samples. "undercooled" is a
meditative hip hop cut with Sketch Show-ish/IDM production, Japanese
instrumentation, and MCing that sorta recalls's Boss MC on DJ Krush's
"Candle Chant." "NGO" is a continuation of the eloquent Brazilian dance
he mastered in Morelenbaum2/Sakamoto.
