STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.html (see below for times)

    Hello all

After all these years, Rainer Trüby has finally made his way to these
shores, playing last weekend at Revolver and surprising a few heads with a
solid deep house selection. He opened his set with a very tasty Louie Vega
remix of the Trüby Trio's "Alegre 2003", which was probably my favourite
tune from the "Elevator Music" album. Word is that a remix album is due
later this year, which is where we might see the Louie remix turn up. Also
be on the lookout for a Trüby Trio mix of Intuit's "Planet Birth" featuring
the legendary Andy Bey on vocals.

As promised, I have managed to get Karsten John into the studio before he
heads back to Germany via Sydney. Tune in tomorrow for Karsten's session,
featuring lots of great and obscure old latin, jazz, soul and funk.

    until then
    Ennio Styles
