  • Next message: Bob Davis: "[acid-jazz] CD Review - OKTBRWRLD: "Raw and Natural""

    Greetings,

I want to begin by raving about the new Alice
Russell CD, "Under The Munka Moon" on Tru
Thoughts. IMHO it's one of the best R&B albums to
be released this year, despite the fact that
nearly half the songs previously appeared on
other recordings. Alice wraps her pipes around
strong lyrics and arrangements that showcase her
depth as a singer and solo performer - not just a
    guest on others' albums.

I'm also feeling the space jazz and breakbeats of
Trevor Loveys' "Intastella," the icy pop of
Plastyc Buddha's "Our Friends Electric" and the
neo-futurist soul of "People Need People," the
    forthcoming release from Baltimore's Pixel.

A reminder that both of last week's shows are up
and available on Live365. Just follow the links
below for quick access to each of the streams.

Until next week, ciao for now,
    David
