    Hola,

As promised last week, tonight we feature a 60 minute mix from
Strictly Kev, entitled "Raiding The 20th Century." Originally
released over a year ago in a slightly slimmer edition, the new
version was inspired by Paul Morley's book "Words & Music" and in
fact features him reading passages from his work.

Kev has this to say: " I always wanted to make a definitive document
on the History of Cut Up music and the original idea was just a 30
minute guest mix for a radio show that got out of control."

"Shortly after I finished it (in 2004) i read Morley's book and was
amazed at the similarities and set about recording him reading
passages. The whole thing grew into a less bootleg driven, more
historical documentary/mix which is probably the most unlicensable
mix ever. The new mix has 168 tracks in 59 minutes and took over a
year to research, record and edit."

The list of artists is so long and so diverse, that I'll be making
the playlist available only by request, for fear of your ISP choking
on the amount of data being sent.

As for the rest of the show, we'll give you a taste of the new
Mayfield: Remixed compilation, featuring the work of the great Curtis
Mayfield, some shuffly head-noddy bizniz from Kelpe, the new album
from Dubtribe Sound System and approximately six other tunes that
will be crammed into the remaining few minutes. I hope you'll join me!

    Ciao for now,
    David
