Participate in the making of NordiCHI 2008

NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for innovative and user-driven research for interactive technology. NordiCHI is the meeting place for researchers from academia and industry, designers, practitioners, educators and others from a broad range of traditions and communities. NordiCHI 2008 is an international venue that will attract 400-500 people for all over the world.

NordiCHI 2008 will be held in Lund, Sweden, Oct. 19-22, 2008 and arranged by design department at Ingvar Kamprad Design Centre Lund Univeristy. NordiCHI 2008 conference theme: Using bridges points at a variety of bridges. For example, we need to better combine theory and practice and bring people from industry together with people from academia.

The conference activities includes: pre-conference workshops and tutorials, a conference program with paper presentations, demos and exhibits, as well as a rich social program and tours. In addition to the regular conference program we plan to organize visits to science parks, e.g. IDEON, and Copenhagen.

The success of NordiCHI 2008 is highly dependent on the support of local individualz and organizations. Support could come in all kinds of flavors, from voulentary work at the conference venue, comminties, to organization support in the preparation and marketing of the event. We would like you to become involved in making NordiCHI2008 the very best event!
