We plan to investigate human centered design within the context of the following four basic sustainability principles, also known as The Natural Step's "System Conditions."
In a sustainable society, nature is not subject to:
- ...increasing concentrations of substances from the earth's crust
- ...increasing concentrations of substances produced by society
- ...degradation by physical means
- ...people are not subject to conditions that systematically undermine their ability to meet their needs.
