Well... its been about two months since we put out Elebugi 1 and
a month or so since I told this list that I was going to distributing
copies of promotional videos surrounding DJ Krush's "Meiso." Sorry
to keep you all waiting.

ELEBUGI2
As far as Elebugi goes, we expect to be able to get issue 2 out within
a week or so. Unfortunately, our "powerhouse" of a writer has taken his
sweet time delivering his promised interviews and finally delivered the
first half of his material today. It'll still take a little time to
translate, edit and design the accompanying article, but at least I
finally have some hope that Issue 2 will come about at all. Some good
news:

- We have 15 MBs of new disk space to utilize how we please. Eventually this
will probably shift over to an archive space, but in the meantime we'd like
to devote alot of this to sound files. We are planning on posting
between 8 to 12 for the next issue.

- We have gifts. Some record companys and local groups have supplied us
with goodies to distribute among readers. Free CDs, free stickers, and
autographs by a certain DJ are all in the works.

KRUSH VID
The Krush vid has been delayed thanks to a misunderstanding on my part.
But this is fixed and I should have a good copy of this in hand by monday
or so. Unfortunately, Krush's management has been slow on supplying copies
of the "Tokyo Deep" TV show that they promised (he has been busy lately I
hear), so that may not end up on the tape. However, what I am going to do
is copy the Krush videos on the beginning of a tape with some footage of
some local rappers
I've taken at some recent big events. Those interested, please take a
look. Those not, don't fret it.

Those who still haven't requested a copy, please get in touch with me.
(I have requests from Gordon, Jonathon H, Gen, Dan Gresham (send your address),
Caron B, Steve E, Derek Boyd (address please), Sasaki Yuuta) That reminds
me, was the Toronto crew at all interested in a copy? (Carlos?)

KNOB CD
I've been promised that this will definitely happen (I wasn't a 100%
about this before), though the timing is a little unclear at this point.
I have received DATs from Victor, Gabriel, Jay B and Marc W. and have
gotten word that two more are in the mail. As I recall, there were another
ten or so other folks who mentioned being interested in participation, but
I've heard little lately. Not to fret, as I said the timing is unclear,
however if I could even receive cassette copies for the time being, it'll
be alot easier to make a presentation to represent you all before decisions
are made. Put it this way, I'm aiming for year-end to make a presentation
to the Pure Sand folks and anyone who can submit by then will get represented.
If possible, I'd appreciate updates on timing in the meantime. Thanks.

Thanks,
-b
