"What's up - are you OK?" the concerned voices were aimed at the figure
prostrate in the corner burbling happily like a baby with a dummy. Yup I'd
got myself a promo of the new Totally Wired compilation having been asked to
review it in 75 words for my uni. magazine. And the burbling was the reflex
action during listening. I sat having the equivalent of an aural orgasm just
listening to this stuff. Fuck me it's good!

OK, high points.

Snowboy' 24 For Betty Page is quite incredible.
Mother Earth's Curtis Mayfield cover is a joy to the ears.
The Oneness of Juju African Rhythms is apparently rare, undeservedly so.
Martian Earth Watch is a bloody waltz. I didn't think anyone could be funky
in 3/4 but then JTQ would probably make the Wizard Of Oz sound funky. This
track actually produced the largest quantity of saliva during first hearing
(yuck!) with the Hithead and Greenfinger tunes coming close second... Look
just buy it OK? You'll see what I mean...
