Oh yes, I've seen the All-stars in person, they played here in L.A.
fairly regularly around the summer of '94; I saw them at a Jazz Funk
Festival along with Pharcyde, Solsonics and Buckshot LeFonque. Zak is
pretty impressive. In fact, he was the person in the band who I thought
was the coolest player. He's a fairly big guy (or at least he looks it) and
he's got this relatively tiny drum kit, and he looks cool playing all
over it.
