I saw their show last night at The Great American Music Hall here
in San Francisco. They put on a great set. I especially enjoyed it
since I had not previously heard a single note from them! Pretty much
what I expected. Medeski is *fucking* amazing on the keyboards. Retro
sounds abound - thought I mighta caught Jimmy Smith outta the corner of
my eye. They are *tight* - anyone know how long they've been together?
Also - if anyone could provide any info on the cd's they have out I'd
appreciate it. (Unless this thread has already covered it - I've got
about 150 messages to get through yet).
To summarize: go see them - it's quite a fun show.
