finally, a new batch of releases from mo wax.
the excursions series is well under way with excursions in...
techno 2 being remixes of patrick pulsinger's 'claire' and 'libre' from
cheap 10 - some try hard to beat the originals, but i loved the stasis mix
of 'claire' - funkier and slower than the original. the mark broom mix of
'libre' is also worth checking.
hip hop 2 is some prunes stuff the names of which escape me. not tracks
from the new breed release, though and good if you like that dark n moody
hip hop vibe.
techno 1 is david caron who did a storming live set here recently, and hip
hop 1 is howie b ('olde scotttish')...neither of which i've listened to
yet.
look out for future installments (5 altogether) and a box to put em all in!
(with the 3rd installment).
