Yep-

We're diggin the Hunch here as well... it's a serious beat excursion that this
act (and Line of Flight) are well known for. Slow enough to be otherworldly, but
often hard enough to slam you outta your seat! For sure, I do often sing the
praises of the Clean Up label, and have liked everything they've put out (even
the guitar funk of August... but don't sleep on that Line of Flight mix!). I
hear this latest Hunch is the last down tempo beat heavy record they're putting
out for six months or so... the next few releases will supposedly explore the
funkier side of things, and will contain more live instrumentation. Perhaps
we'll see a mix of the two styles, as on the Dig! Alliance record. Nonetheless,
Clean Up is a label that seems to be playing with many styles, and is certainly
something to keep an eye on.

As far as that LaFunkMob/MightyBop/DJcam double 12", I love that tune that has
the vocal that says "jungle vibes" (?) and then a jungle-ish, fast high hat
pattern starts up. Then, at the breakdown, the drums kick in, at about 75 BPM! I
was sure fooled into thinking this was going to be a jungle tune. This is pretty
funny the first time you hear it. I can't remember the title of the song and who
does it right now though, it's just one of the French 3 (my guess would be Bop).
