want some weird noises?
try Mr. Scruff "Hocus Pocus" 12". Wicked breakbeats and scratches (either
live and EXTREMELY good or sampled and ok, can't figure it out). Hocus Pocus
is a great novel track, different from anything I've heard before. The Hocus
Pocus Seed mix is excellent also, even better in my opinion, but unusable :(
because of this noise that occurs a dozen time on the track and sounds like
when you feed your microphone to your speaker (a 16khz
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!) and no way to eq it correctly. Oh well. Oh and
also another great track on that 12" called Sea Mammal, a head-nodding dub
with funny samples ("the largest sea mammmal is the whale").
