I'm new to this list (first knew about it at the beginning of '95 but didn't
get my shit together 'till now!)
I recently moved to Houston from London for work and I'm having trouble
sourcing all the fresh vinyl I so badly need.
I collect all kinds of underground music, mainly <120 b.p.m.
At the moment I'm ordering records from a store downtown, but they only get
a few in, the rest you can special order from a fax from Watts Stax (I
think?) In N.Y. I've got some good shit from this list, but it seems pretty
unreliable and they're behind on loads of stuff (their descriptions are
mis-leading as well).
What's a good place to hook up with? I have access to a fax if needed. I'd
be specially interested in a source of Japanese imports.
Also, does anyone know if there have been any Compost (German) releases this
year?
